C.A.R.E Values  Blog, Week 8-9, term 3


WHAT?
I would like to focus on being more consistent on my care values.


SO WHAT?
  • My strengths are in being a Community minded person and a respectful person because in Community can clean up after myself and be a respectful person. 
  • I have achieved my bronze certificate.
  • I have almost achieved my silver certificate.


NOW WHAT?

  • I am going to work toward getting close to my gold  Because i'll be proud of my self.
  • I am going to do this by trying my best.

PE/Sport Blog, Week 6-7,


WHAT?
For PE/Sport my goals were to use:
  • Positive relationships with individuals or groups.
  • Positive teamwork .
  • Communicate to others .


SO WHAT?

I can work in a group with anyone in my  year level or team  because I listen to what others suggest and try to carry this out.  I can give suggestions how to improve how we play.

I can interact confidently with others in a team and make individual compromises based on identifying ways to improve team outcomes.  I was able to identify ways we could improve teamwork when we were not playing as a team.  I could also listen carefully to advice from others to help us improve our game. when we are doing the non travelling team we communicate to others and work with the year 6.

NOW WHAT?
  • I will practice being positive if we are on the losing end.
  • I will participate more.
  • Communicate to others.

art

Art Attack Blog, Week 5, term



WHAT?


For art attack my goal was to produce a piece of art related to our local landscape using either paint, water colour or pastel.


With Mrs Marsh I learned about  foreground, midground and background in landscapes.
With Mr Forman I learned about colour and complementary colours.
With Mr Rule I looked at the different landscape features of Canterbury and Banks Peninsula.


SO WHAT?
We learned how to blend and shade colours.

NOW WHAT?
  • In Mrs Marsh's class we learned about pasteling
  • stuff in the foreground needs to be bigger than the object in the background.

My learning Goals for Term 3


What?

I have been identifying my literacy goals for the start of term 3

My reading teacher is Mr Rulle

My writing teacher is Mrs Marsh

So What?

My handwriting goal is to flick and slope my letters

My spelling goal is to complete list 4.

My writing goal is to write about a moment in time using a picture prompt
use a variety of simple, compound and complex sentence.                                                                         use a variety of verbs and adjectives to make my writing more interesting, and precise nouns

                                        this is an exampel of my lerning


My reading goal is to predict what the story might be about and what will happen in the next paragraph.

My blog goals are to add more detail to my blog posts


  • to proofread and edit my blog post before publishing

  • to use a variety of ways to show my learning (text, photos/images, video)

  • to complete all the set blogs for this term

  • to do a ‘Can Do’ blog about an achievement, some other learning or something I am

  • proud of

PE

WALT: kick a large ball

I learned that I need to use the side of the foot to kick.
Here is an example of my learning: l played soccer and I learnt how to kick a ball properly.
Next time I will try harder to play the game properly.
